1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data collected on this website is Fábio Manuel da Silva Felicidade (Colectec), NIF 243 035 055, Faro, Algarve, Portugal.

2. What data we collect

• Contact form: name, e-mail, phone number (optional), your message and, if you send them, photos and videos of the space.
• WhatsApp: if you contact us via WhatsApp, we receive your number, profile name and the messages you send. That service is provided by WhatsApp/Meta, under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type and pages visited, collected by the Google services described below, only as you choose in the cookie banner.

Please make sure your photos and videos show only the space and the items to be cleared. Avoid including people, personal documents or any other data that is not needed for the quote.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

• To reply to your request and prepare the quote — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To provide the service and invoice it, if you go ahead — performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations, namely tax law (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
• To protect the form against spam and abuse, with Google reCAPTCHA — our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Visit statistics and ad measurement, with Google Analytics and Google Ads — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your data or use it to send you advertising by e-mail.

4. How long we keep your data

• Quote requests (form data, photos and videos): 12 months from submission. After that they are deleted automatically.
• Requests that lead to a service we carry out: 120 months from submission, to keep a record of the service, handle any complaints and follow-up requests from the same client. After that they are anonymised automatically: we delete the name, e-mail, phone number, message, photos and videos, and keep only statistical data that does not identify you (date, language and number of files sent).
• Invoices and tax documents, if we provide the service: 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax law.
• Cookies: according to the settings you choose and the lifetime of each cookie.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner, except for data we are legally required to keep.

5. Who we share your data with

We only share data with service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you, and only as far as necessary:

• Our web hosting company, where the requests and uploaded files are stored.
• Google — sending e-mails (Gmail), spam protection (reCAPTCHA) and, with your consent, statistics (Google Analytics) and ad measurement (Google Ads).
• WhatsApp/Meta, if you contact us that way.

Google and Meta may process data outside the European Union, namely in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work (for example, to remember your language and protect the form) and, only with your consent, preference, statistics and marketing cookies.

You can accept, refuse or choose cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings", also available in the site footer.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your data and obtain a copy;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• ask for your data to be deleted;
• restrict or object to the processing;
• receive the data you gave us in a commonly used format (portability);
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

To exercise these rights, email info@colectec.com. We will reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt.

8. How we protect your data

The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Uploaded photos and videos are stored outside the public area of the site and can only be viewed through a private link, reserved for Colectec.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we change the services we use. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
